DECA's high school members benefit from activities in DECA's Comprehensive Learning Program. High school sports and athletes as well as sports statistics and scores. Also information on prep sports, teen sports, and high school student athletics. High school students can get a taste of Northwestern academics and athletics through the College Preparation Program, Center for Talent Development, National High School Institute, Wildcat Sports Camps and more.

SPECIALIST SPORTS PROGRAM STUDENT ATHLETE CRITERIAThe selection of students into the program considers the following criteria: High level of ability and performance in both a training and competitive environment. Positive and enthusiastic attitude to support their personal development. High potential for future development and growth in their identified sport. High level of coachability that enables all individuals to seek and accept a variety of feedback. High level of ability to improve their skills and knowledge in all aspects of their schooling.

Provide a positive role model for others in their approach to learning, school rules and behaviour. Demonstrate academic effort and achievement. Must play/compete for a peak body affiliated or community club.

CONDITIONS OF THE ENROLMENTIf successful in any of the application types both parents and the student are required to sign a student agreement form accepting an offer for a position in the Henley High School Specialist Sport Program. A student must agree to the terms and conditions specified by the .

An annual fee is set by the Henley High School Council and contributes to costs associated with the program and covers items such as excursions, guest speakers, celebrations, coaches and equipment use. Parents will be given advanced notice of major excursions to assist with planning and budgeting. The basic fee is: Henley High School Yr 8 student: $2. Henley High School Yr 9 - 1.

International Student - $1. Online student – Not attending Henley High School but completing program from current school: POAUNIFORMAll students are required to purchase a Specialist Sports Uniform as part of them accepting their position in the program. The Specialist Sports Uniform is in two categories.

Firstly, a uniform for competition is compulsory on accepting an enrolment. Secondly, a training uniform is also available to be used but is not compulsory.

However, if not used the Competition uniform must be used. Further information on this can be found at the SSP Uniform page. BILLETINGA component of our program is to provide students with the opportunity to be involved in exchanges and overnight excursions with other schools. These exchanges/excursions could include billeting. Billeting provides students the opportunity to foster close relationships with other student athlete families with similar interests and also helps to reduce costs of these events.
